{ShOp tHe hOusE}
second.editionIt all started a few weeks ago~
sitting on the couch day after day trying to keep this baby girl from coming too early.
I’m not sure what began annoying me more….
always sitting in the same direction,
or noticing the countless lacy cobwebs that hung hidden from the ceiling -
until the sun streamed through the windows at a certain time each afternoon.When I pointed out the fact to Shayne, that I was beginning to feel like I lived in the insect house at the zoo..
he reminded of that verse in the Bible that says something about even the kings palaces have spider webs.
To which I reminded him – and maids too!
Finally. one night while he was at football practice with Ben,
I decided it was time to give the living room a good cleaning -
which a good cleaning to me usually means re arranging something.I waited on Shayne to get home because I knew I couldn’t/ shouldn’t lift anything.
But went ahead and took all the pictures and shelves off the walls..
then sat back down facing south on my couch.
{that’s just a guess. i’m about as good w/ my directions as i am my states}
I looked around at the empty walls and tried to think of what I could do that would be different and fresh..
without – of course – spending a dime.So… I took off shopping.
in.my.house.
I gathered all the things I thought might work and brought them to the living room.
Most came from my upstairs hall.
I’d work a bit then sit down {rest} and assess.
Then, get up. move it all around some more. and sit again.
When Shayne got home he was sweet to do all the heavy lifting.
He’s become so much more understanding of my “hobby.”
When he walked in the living room that night and saw the walls bare I don’t think his face even flicked of any response… he simply called casually over his shoulder to the kids, “better look before you sit. things are not where they used to be!”
So I’m enjoying the purchases I found from shopping my house~
Here’s what it all looks like now….
Which I should point out I know it’s kinda hard to get an idea of the room as a whole because I really don’t have a lens that takes it all in – if you’d like a better view you could mail me a wide angle lens. ;pAND since I didn’t really think about showing pictures of the makeover until AFTER -I didn’t take any pictures before!! {yeah. sometimes i simply live life and think about blogging about it later}
So… the only shots I have of the living room were from last year. Just in case you were wondering why I’d already decorated for fall.K. ‘nough explaining. here we go -
{before/ after looking in from shayne’s office}

We moved the entertainment center to the other side of the room…
Shayne kept reminding me we wouldn’t have tv because there’s not cable hookup over there.
I never let that kind of stuff deter me from putting things where I want them – you can always figure that out later.
Besides, with football season quickly approaching…
I have a feeling Shayne will suddenly be seeing the “need” for us to have TWO cable connections in the house!
i want to eventually paint the entertainment center&the desk below – but for now it is what it is
{before/after looking in from kitchen}
the couch and chair look the same from this angle.. but one is one and one is the other
{wall with shelves re placed from ones upstairs}
{fireplace corner before/after}
i brought the desk down from our room.. and now the sofa table that was in the LR functions as our desk upstairs**The curtains…
They seemed to suddenly look heavy to me w/ the long scarf that draped over them.
So I took it down and pulled the sheers open….
Just a subtle change, but so much breezier and lighter.**The color…
I wanted to try to tie in the blue color of the pillows…
I found an old can of the paint we’d used in kate’s room so I just threw a quick coat over a few things -**Those nail holes…
When you look at the two pictures behind the couch straight on you can see they’re a little off center -
that’s because I had to hang them in such a way to hide the numerous and hideous nail holes on the wall.So don’t be afraid of putting holes in your walls -
they’re way easily hidden.
**How to Get extra decorating money…
Sometimes no matter how much walking round and round your house you do -
that one item you need
or would be the completing thing to tie it together
or simply look super neat in that corner…
just ain’t there!So you need to buy.
That’s when I start looking around for things to sell -
{and the kids run and hide}
kidding.…things I no longer need/ want.
things I’m so over or have lost their wow factor to me.I try to put the money back into what it was I sold.
i.e. clothes – buy new clothes. house – things for the housesometimes it plain ole goes to food or bills -
been known to sell things for those reasons too.
but mostly it’s the water wheel effect.. back into where it came from.

pillows.picture.flowered chair.pillar-
i sold at a consignment store and got nearly 200 bucks**This old trunk…
It used to be my parents.
I remember it in our family room as a girl growing up -
I saw it in their garage a while back and asked if I could use it.
I’ll probably paint it the blue color eventually.. but for now I just wanted something faster so I used spray paint!Speaking of paint colors – have you seen the new Behr swatches from Home Depot?
I haven’t actually bought a can of paint in years literally –
but went in this week to pick up something for Ben’s room that I’m working on.
Thought this was such a great idea..They’re individual..!! so clever. no more of the 5 colors on the same card thing.
and bigger! No more stretching your arm out and squinting to try to see what it might look like.
My favorite part is they have these super cute leaf cutouts where the little circle holder goes~
and Yes. I’m one of those crazy obsessive people that picks up 100 swatches at a time!!**Behind the Picture Scene
While snapping the shots of the color swatches above I was distracted by what sat just beyond them..This is what my living room looked like the day after I re decorated it all.
I enjoyed it while it looked “perfect” but that’s not reality. This is….
{boxes from our school books that make great toys!}And I noticed this little statue thingy I found for 5 bucks at Home Goods is constantly found in different parts of the room,
and has become a popular storage place for various things…**Websites I’ve recently discovered and love!!
** My favorite website of the moment…
Not only is this place bursting with creativity and beauty..
it’s author seems so down to earth and someone you’ll find yourself wanting to have a coffee with -
which makes it even more appealing.She was sweet enough to swing by a few posts ago to “introduce” herself and say, hey.
So if you don’t have time for the others above atleast check her out!!
**Take a Vote~
Yesterday I brought in this piece of picket fence that was outside.
Can’t decide if I like it or if it makes the wall look too busy…{here’s kinda the before/after}
What do you think?
Stay or go?And maybe it would look better white?
So.. it’s all such a work in progress.
But that’s what makes it so fun.. the progress.Remember just because that picture has hung on the wall for 10 years,
or the couch always faced south
doesn’t mean it has to stay that way.
When you shop.the.house you might be surprised that the mirror from the bathroom looks perfect over the mantle!Don’t be afraid of ChAngE.
That’s the neatest thing of all about decorating -
nothing is permanent!

Good morning Amber, You are so like me: a good clean up is moving things around..not a little here and there, but huge…But you are more into the details. I love this post. I’ve learned from you, since the last time you went shopping house how great that is; your whole perspective of what you own is changing too. I’m a give away woman too; even yesterday I had two lovely little purchases lying waiting…for me to use it somewhere: one a little heartshaped can with Oilily soap in it and one essence rose little bag, and they were packed like presents….my daughter visited in the middle of a hectic day for her…and I enjoyed giving her these lovely things…for her new car, smelling like a prinses carriage and beside her bed….That’s me, you see. I will try to put a post on this little abundance-attitude of me ..hahaha…Did they leave a spot for the baby cradle in your living room ? …we call it: a box…not like the baby boy of Doris Day in Don’t eat the daisies…that is more like a dog bench, an iron cage with locks it was, have you seen that one: Great. And in the middle of all that Doris is as elegant as ever…but than she moves to the country with all her sons…..Cobwebs…You should see the movie again, once your tv set and dvd is plugged in again…
Enjoy your lovely home, my friend
Godeliva ps. I’ve added something sweet for you to smell in your rooms…haha..enjoy
I really like the quote about evolution and decor!
And your style is much like mine. Ever since I was a little brat (not long ago), I used to look around my room to think which object in my room could go with few others… and just decorating, rearranging etc. my dressers and such. But really, sometimes that’s all you really need to do. Look at what you’ve already got, and see what you can do with it!
Lovely message! Hope all is well!
Yea, I’d say your in the nesting stage
Looks lovely! I love, love, love old trunks. We live with my FIL and he doesn’t like change, so I can’t decorate at all how I would – we’re stuck with his decor which is pretty gloomy
Anxious for our own place – now I have lots of simple ideas from your posts
oh, i love your ‘shop the house’ editions!! sooo inspiring, and you do so well at pulling things together! i just want to come over and sit in that peaceful and gorgeous living room! i LoVe the leather chair, the warm tones of the room, the breezy curtains, the little touches of color…it’s just all so wonderfully inviting!
home decor is a work in progress for me; i LOVE changing it up on occasion, and pulling things from the house, or storage. working with what i have and coming up with a ‘new’ space is so therapeutic for me!
i think my favorite picture tho’ is the day after with the toys and boxes strung hither and yon…it comforts me to know that my house is not the only one that stuff is pretty much turned upside down as soon as i get it how i want it! ;O)
oh, and your maid comment? yep, said that a few times to my hubs too! ;O) course, sometimes, i think that’s me, myself and i!!! teehee!
have a lovely day, and enjoy these last days of peace and quiet!
hugs your way…

That’s such a good idea……..to shop in your own house. The statue guy is so cute. I’m not sure about the picket fence. You’ll have to live with it awhile and see what you think.
I was only able to breeze through…I’ll be back later for a second look but I did catch the “stay” or “go” for the picket fence…I say stay…it fills the void.
love it and it gives me the itch….. this is when i wish i didn’t throw everything away! i tend to go with dark paint colors, i think a reaction to my institutional white walls when we first built. I am really liking the “cool, lighter” look…. maybe in my “new” house…. dreamin here. i vote the fence goes
. it looks cute but i like simple, not full look. wow, i don’t usually just disagree!
Lovely, very nice and isn’t it fun! The fence? If you like it it stays right? Fun post, you have a lovely home.
Girl you really need to consider doing this for others for . . . people pay big bucks to have someone decorate like this. . .seriously :O)
Looks fun, I love rearranging my house! I never let things like cable connections bother me either, lol. I think the fence actually kind of makes that wall look LESS cluttered in a way, because the color of it kind of anchors all the odds and ends. Just my thought! Your house looks beautiful! And I just love that trunk.
Totally enjoyed Amber! Considering we are starting completely over in the decor department (tornado) this post has been such an inspiration. I enjoy creating a sweet environment for my family and visitors.
The picket fence really anchors that small wall~ I love it. I think you could white wash it~ rough it up a bit with the brown lightly peeking through in places. (???)
Turquoise~ I am in love with turquoise.
You totally inspired me to redecorate once again!! The new look is GREAT!! Maybe I will even go dare look at my linen paint sample again for the living room, things really need to lighten up in here! I have an old chest like yours and the spray paint would be PERFEeecct. I have it sitting in my basement storage for 3 years now. sigh
enjoyed the post!!
oh wow- thanks for being my morning creative eye candy!!
i can soo identify with the morning after picture of your living room. ah, yes! i love the torquoise accents. so great!
God bless you today my friend!
It all looks great, Amber ~ well done ~ you really have been ambitious even while you rest!
About the fence? It looks okay, but I wonder if it might be a place that those fairy-like spiders might seek out!
So gorgeous! I love the trend toward so much white right now. It seems so restful! I just about went crazy with all the linen walls and brown trim, brown floor, brown cabinets, brown ceiling in our last house so I went crazy with color and white trim when we built our own 3 yrs ago. I still like it, but the pictures with all the white look so refreshing.
GREAT Job! I love your style! Wanna come to my house next? Youre little nesting phase is working nicely for ya.
)
PS I like the picket fence.
YOu did a fabulous job!!!! I say keep the fence, it looks really cute!!!
I smiled when I read about y’alls conversation about spiders and cobwebs. My sister always says, “Spiders are our friends!” She never kills a spider – she might put it outside alive, but never kills it. I, on the other hand, seem to be a spider magnet, and have been bitten more times than I can count! Spiders are NOT my friends!
I love your home, and love the idea of “shopping the house”. I’m gathering ideas for when I get to move back home!
I like the picket fence, especially moving toward fall again. It seems friendly and homey.
Aahhhhhhhhh! I LOVE it! What a beautiful, beautiful home you have! And your decorating style is so pretty… I can so identify with you changes things around… I can get “bored” with sameness in my house and am forever adding/taking from one room to another/changing looks and colors with a few little accents. So fun to see what someone else does with all of that too! Just beautiful and yet so cozy. Love that!
You are so totally nesting!
Are you ‘supposed’ to be on bed rest??
Cracking up!!
Love all the changes you made. Inspires me to do some of my own
You continually amaze me, Amber! Seriously! I think the before AND afters look just grand, but I know how you feel about staring at the same old stuff placed the same old way every day. We’re moving a bunch of our stuff out with the girls tomorrow when we take them to college. (Sad, sad day for me. ~ my best friends are leaving me…..)
Nesting is a great time! all that energy and neatnikness…. ~ Making the place shine for that wonderful new arrival.
That was fun! And it inspired me as I think about moving into and decorating a new home!
You have quite a flair for decorating! As far as the picket fence, I love the fence but I like the wall better without it. What about maybe in a hallway or kid’s room? You are definitely in the “nesting” mode- don’t you think?!
Beautiful, beautiful. You, my friend, have a lot of energy while resting! I relate to the having to sit and seeing all the stuff that needs to be done. Ugh, spider webs. I enjoy my long armed boy and set him to getting them!!
Yes, I vote keep the fence. It really ties the area together and makes it look less busy, in my opinion. I like the color as it balances out the frames, chair, and lamp.
I am so itching to do some reorganizing around here. Our place is so small and we have brought in stuff from Nana and Grandpa’s house…it is so cluttered. Biggest project I need to do is reorganizing all the books, paper, business, and school stuff. Then I could sew the pillow covers and put up some pretties! School is right around the corner, so next week I hope to get some of that organizing done!
I like the fence. It hides your lamp outlet…..and I HATE outlets and cords! drives me crazy.
I quite prefer the “lived in” look. Signs of life are beautiful, right?!! can you tell I’m trying to convince myself?! hehe
Love you!
stacey
Love it all! Could you bring some of your stuff to my place?
Actually, my apartment is pretty small so there really isn’t room to rearrange, but some day when God blesses us with a house, I know where to come for more ideas.
i like the piece of picket fense cause that wall definately needed something to tie the table with the shelves since there was some open space there…i like it. one day when i have my own place i’m excited to finally discover all the little things i have tucked away and actually decorate with them. i love what you did on the mantal. very nice.
great post today…and some of beautiful decorating sites you had there are on my list of fav’s too…sometimes the pictures just blow my mind. i’ve downloaded alot of pictures to my ‘inspiration’ file….for ‘one day’
love you…soon your lovely family will be back in your nest
I vote “go” on the picket fence.. cute, but with all the pictures and the word too, I think a simple wall is more complimentary to the decorations =) just my two cents. I’m thinking I should start buying cool house stuff now so I have plenty to rearrange when I have a house! i’m sure my mom would love to have more stuff stored in her basement
or I could loan it to you, then come shopping at your house when i’m ready for it back!
I am so wanting to reclaim this house.
When we were first married, I moved in with all kinds of visions, and I lotof them I tackled,
BUT that was 15 years ago.
Now three kids later, things need a complete makeover!
You did a beautiful job! I realize how frozen I feel when it comes to making things over.
Turning old into new.
I love this because money is an issue here, which I sometimes feel paralyzed by.
I like that you don’t let that cramp you.
You just “shop the house”.
I kind of got stuck on your living room furniture.
We really, really want leather furniture….just like yours!
I preferred the wall without the fence. Then again, maybe if you’d paint it white, it woudn’t be as distracting.
Love you….
What a fun post! I love your redecorating! I found you through Mrs. Troop and I’ve enjoyed looking at your blog!
beautiful! I’ll be back later but just wanted to Say I love it!
You are a girl after my own heart in so many ways…. when i’m in the mood to really clean, well, i’m also in the mood to change things up a bit. No one else will notice (outside of my family) but it makes me happy.
Esp. in the nesting stage.
I’m likin’ the fence… i think i would whitewash it a bit and that way it wouldn’t be such a huge drastic color change and would blend in more. I’m trying to figure out where i could do that in my house.
I like your idea for the water wheel affect and am going to think about how i could do that. I also am a BIG fan of dreamy whites and the other web sites you suggested i will check out.
oh, and btw, i’m ’bout dying to hear some baby news from you…..
I do this all the time! I LOVE the fence in your house, so sweet. Thanks for the great links!
I love your decorating ideas! You are so creative! I wish I had more time/energy for decorating maybe it’s cause I have 3 kids under 5. Do you think you decorate more now than when Kate and Ben were little?
I love coming here….. It is so refreshing! You really have a gift girl!!! REALLY! I happen to really like that little fence, it adds a really neat demension to the room. I move things around a lot to save on the cost and it helps bring new life to the home.
Your house is so lovely!
fun changes around your house! I never understood why my mom always had to change around the family room furniture growing up. My dad would come home late at night from work and run into stuff since the room had been moved around during the day
Now that we’re in this house it’s designed to where the furniture that we have has to stay where it is, so the moving has quit except for the little things and the fact that when you paint it’s all got to be moved out. We been doing lots of changes around the house since 5 out of the 8 rooms down stairs got painted in the last 2 weeks. My mom and I spent 2 days just getting the stuff above the cabinets in the kitchen decorated again. Most of what was up there is still there just in a different place.
There isn’t a place you can really sell used furniture here so we’re stuck with either giving it to Goodwill or keeping it since you know it’s worth something and could get something out of it eventually.
Yay for getting rid of what you don’t need. We (my mom) really needs to work on that
On the subject of the fence. I’m not sure if I like it or not. I think it makes the wall look a little busy. I think if you do keep it, you should paint it white so it’s not so stark against the wall.
It Looks *so* beautiful! I am *quite* impressed!
Sooo….I’m thinking you need to come and help me with my house.
Really, this is lovely.
I didn’t read all the comments and I don’t feel like I have the best decorating touch (yet. i hear it’s developed over time and I’m working on it!) but my vote is to paint the fence white! I really like it! It’s maybe a little busy but sometimes busy is neat.
I’m offended that you’d actually bother living your life when you should be spending it blogging for me!!
-Queen of Hypocrisy
Looks lovely, darling. I think picket fence in blue would be fun.
Oh WOW am I inspired now!!! Jeff will thank you later.
I think the fence looks absolutely terrible on the wall…..I’ll message you my address, you have to get rid of it and quick!!! Just joking, I actually really like it. The fence is one of those things you can move around, put outside, bring back in, whatever! It’s a very versatile piece! You know what, it would actually look cute by the brick on your back patio in summer and fall! I like it on your wall too though, I don’t think it looks too busy, however, I am a busy sort of decorater, so…..! Everything looks so nice in your house! I love rearranging and changing things around. And the nail holes, totally agree with you, they’re so easy to cover!
It’s a good thing we’re not neighbors, we’d probably CONSTANTLY be putting ideas into each other’s heads and driving our husbands crazy!!! I was laughing at the figure out the where to put the cable wires later thing, that is so me too! Ahhhh, what husbands put up with, and what wives do during football season! I can’t believe it’s starting already! Hope you have a good weekend, and stay put lady! Don’t be doing too much work!
Wow!!! I think you and I have a kindred spirit! I LOVE doing what you just did! Thats what we’ve been doing here, I caught myself thinking “why in the world am I just trading places with all this stuff?’ NOW I know, as you termed it “shopping your house” !!!! Now it makes more since to me, what I’ve been doing all these years! I have recently traded places with furniture, painted up stuff, whatever I could do to give a new look! AND without spending money! Just wish I had your decorating talent, your house looks so nice!
oh yeah, keep the fence like it is, it looks so cute!
@Ariadone -
that’s one of my favorite doris day movies.. i haven’t seen it in forever – i’ll have to find it and watch again!
thanks for all your sweet encouragement~
@wj3km -
hoping you guys can get your own place soon, Wilma. i know that gets tough~
@betheelou -
now it’s only “cautious” bedrest – whatever that means.
no.. i just have to take it easy. but after this week – the 35th i’m in the free and clear to go run laps if i want!!! woo hoo
@ToLiveLoved -
“I HATE outlets and cords!” me too.:) part of why i thought of it in the first place.
@singingrachel -
i’ve kicked myself a dozen times for not stopping at that little roadside place you suggested w/ the doors and old windows~ especially once i brought the fence in i was envisioning all kinds of outside things that could go INside! we’ll just have to meet back up there i tell ya~
@holysmoke4 -
i’ve always loved decorating and and trying to come up w/ new ideas for things~ but i WILL say that my home LOOKS more decorated or that i put more time into it now that the kids are older. ppl walk in and notice the pretty pillows cause they’re actually where they should be and not all over the floor or thrown behind the couch – doesn’t mean they still don’t end up there, but w/ the kids older they’ve learned to pick up after themselves. put things back where they belong.
AND – of course being able to put things lower.. like a vase of flowers or basket of magazines that a baby/toddler is not going to pull over or eat up helps too.
we don’t have to feel limited b/cause of our kids ages – i think it can push our creativity even more when we’re trying to make a baby gate look like part of the decor.
but yes. all in all. things are easier w/ the kids older!
@chix0rgirl -
ha! yeah i know, right.
I love it! You’ve inspired me to shop the house, and maybe the outside too…..I’m thinking our mantle needs a makeover…hmmm…what could I do….
Lookin’ good! I think you’re gonna be ready when the wee one decides to say hello. Love your leather couch, let me know when you need to sell it
. Don’t know about the fence for sure, but if it stays I think white would be better….maybe I need to go shop my house, although I think I’d rather check a few stores out first
. Have a lovely weekend with your Man. Jess
So beautiful! I change my living room around so much it is crazy
My sister and I will visit each other for a few days and help each other. My husband knows when she is coming to visit we will have a new look
I love the fence!!
I have so much FUN when you ShOp tHe hOusE!!!
I like all the WoRdS! the color tweak! and the “new” curtains!
And I am reminded again about that ugly sofa post I need to write.
No. no. YOUR sofa is not ugly.
MINE IS.
19 freakin 80′s ugly.
You have many gifts, dear friend. And one of them is making a house all home-y!
Your style of decor? yeah. but your heart even more.
love.
Great makeover! A go on the fence.
Dear Amber,
Wow!!
I love everything that you did.
Your home is beautiful before and after!!
I love all the little changes you did too. That is my favorite thing to do, shop in my own home.
It is amazing how different a room can look when you just rearrange or borrow something from another room.
I LOVE the fence.
Thank you so much for putting a link to me in your post, how sweet of you to do that, and thank you for saying what you said about me. I wish we lived near each other I would bring coffee to you!!
I had my first two children premature, and had to be on bed rest for my third child. She ended up not being premature! : ))
I feel blessed to have discovered you and your blog!
I can’t wait to spend more time reading your blog.
Take Care,
Maria
p.s. You are so talented
I like the changes you made, painting the fence white or a light color would be cool…thanks for your comments, we enjoyed San Antonio, glad you did too!
My husband and I are remodeling our home. I’ve been intimidated by the numerous decisions and details to decide. I have been stuck on trying to pick paint colors, and have a hundred Behr color charts myself! I think your post has helped me know more what I want. I also am going to reevaluate the things I already have before buying new things. Shop the house is a wonderful ideal!
The fence adds charm, in my opinion. I would paint it white and keep it.
Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed weekend with your family home.
Oh my goodness–that all worked out so neatly! I want to shop your house!
Keep the fence, but paint it the same color as the wall…that’s my thought.
OH WOW!!! so pretty!!! and i’m sure even more so in real life versus pics!! u are gifted. oh, i know the feeling, i am CONSTANTLY changing things around. We live in a rancher with a full basement that is finished and decorated, it’s SO much fun to walk around the house/downstairs and pull off something so new looking without spending a penny. it is a nessecity to me as a stay at home mom to have a new feeling about my house, feels so good and refreshing. i do it for my sanity. most people don’t even have a clue i changed things up
love to see other peoples decor. thanks for posting the pics!!! oh and my 2 cents on the fence is to paint it white
~Rachel
Picket fence: paint it “Kate’s Room Blue”, then sand a rough spot here and there. Maybe take a couple things off the shelf above it. I love your style! It’s so similar to mine and I love to paint things and move stuff around! Since we added the new kitchen, though, I’ve put alot of things away in storage because I was so afraid to put holes in the new walls!
My mom is exactly like you – she “shops the house” and is constantly re-arranging and re-decorating! I love it! Oh and how I love it when she visits my house and works her magic here. It is AMAZING how different the same space, with the same elements, can look with just her knack for re-arranging and such. I wish I could live next door to her – or you!
Beautiful work Amber! Your house is lovely and warm and inviting. I love these kind of posts!
Oh, Amber, this is so incredible to me. I am one of those people who still has the same old things on the wall that I’ve had there for the past ten years. I rarely look around and evaluate it. Besides, I’m too cheap (and hate shopping too much!) to buy a lot of pretty things, so I really don’t have a stash to “shop” from. I do wish I had more of an eye for it, because I love to LOOK at your rooms. Not so sure I’d like to dust them, though…
Btw, I’m not very sold on the picket fence. It’s a cool effect, but I think it’s a bit much for that wall. Just my opinion, of course, and I just told you how much of a decorator *I* am!
omg! Your home is gorgeous!!!I think the fence is cool-keep it!
Your makeover is so pretty! I love how changing things form room to room or putting them in another arrangement makes them seem new again! Your room looks so inviting and restful. I think if the picket fence stays it would look pretty in white or aqua.
